Mulder For Scully

So I've finally finished my last set of exams, and instead of doing anything productive since then I've just been getting back into drawing and watching a lot of old X Files episodes.
My excuse for being lazy is that I got sick almost straight after my exams were over... but then again, who needs excuses to watch the X Files? The show is awesome.

The idea for the picture came to me when I was watching season six. I think by that point it's clear Mulder was irrevocably in love with Scully. And every night, she's the one he fantasizes and dreams of... hence this piece.

It took around 20 hours spread over a few days in Photoshop 7. It was originally two separate drawings and I think there were around 150 layers when it was all pulled together. Scully's face was based on a single reference picture of Gillian Anderson but I used a few different pictures for Mulder, so I don't think he's as crisp.

I figured I would post this for all the other X Philes out there - and to get as much constructive criticism as I can, as I'd really like to improve!
